I have been a legal PA for over 25 years, working for the past 20 years for a large, international law firm so my experience speaks for itself.
Having been a PA for a Managing Partner, I understand the need for confidentiality and because of this all of my work is saved in a secure, password protected area called a “Lockbox” and is only therefore accessible by me.
Also, when deleting any work from my system, I have incorporated an “erase file” which permanently erases the file from the computer rather than storing it in a recycle bin.
What is a Virtual Assistant (“VA”)?
